HELLO AND WELCOME TO OUR WEB SITE

"First of all a little bit of history about our company

We started looking on our travels for caravans that were damaged, damp, or just unwanted.

Things went from strength to strength mixing landscaping with caravans until a very bad R.T.A. and a change of career was needed. An active campaign began displaying adverts wanting caravans, post cards were put in all the local shops at first. And so it had begun!.

We started very slowly at first finding our feet within the local market only opening on Saturdays.

With no modern day tools or computers we used to break down caravans, slowly very slowly even down to hacksawing the chassis’s , trying to keep all the necessary parts that we thought would be useful or that could be used again to upgrade caravans.

We were unaware of what we had stumbled into as the market of today was totally undiscovered. Then by the middle of the 1990’s (as Max Boyce put it ) things were getting a bit out of hand!!! (sorry it’s a Welsh thing)

We were breaking over 1000 caravans a year, picking up caravans from Insurance Companies and people just like you!

Many caravans came from all over the country from Cornwall to Scotland we never knew where we were going to be, we could be picking up from a main dealer one day and picking up from a recovery accident unit the next. At first this was hard as we knew somebody somewhere had lost their caravan (their pride and joy) due to an accident and over the years we have never really come to terms with this. Some of the caravans we recover are only 4 foot high and cannot be used for any spares.

As our reputation grew so did our customer base and we still see some of the very first customers we served all those years ago and we thank them for their continued support and their recommendations to their friends.

Along with breaking many 1000’s of caravans over the years we then progressed into repairing caravans and motorhomes as we knew the hard way on how these were built as we had taken many apart, it was the next logical step. Then customers came in requesting new parts and accessories and we evolved again.

A new shop selling new and used parts was born, plus a dedicated workshop for repairs. This was a BIG risk moving from Talywain to Blaenavon.(np4 9rl) But has really paid off with facilities for any type of repair.

We have purchased over the years quite a few companies that were giving up and our stock levels included many obsolete parts - we were now a growing force within the caravan industry.

We are now faced with a Repair centre second to none with the back up of 10,s of thousands of parts readily available from our own stock, hence we can turn around repairs generally in 7-10 days as long as parts are in stock which they usually are,

we have over 40 different wallboards in stock which we use and sell to customers and dealers alike, hence waiting times are down on damp and damaged repairs. and we are always adding to this stock with worktop,15mm paper and laminated boards for bed ends tables and even entire motor conversions.

The shop has now outgrown our premises we are trying in the next few months to get some MORE shop shelving so we can display our secondhand items more pleasing to the eye however trying to keep that  muddled effect ! (some customers love it)

Sadly a few firms in 2012 have fallen and to be honest 2013 looks like there will be a few more. Thankfully we are a bit different and do not put all our eggs in one basket and this year we have actually grown by 22% and thats all down to you !

Our customers many of which know myself personally who come in our shop on a regular basis knows the health problems with my back but from the ashes a pheonix rises or so im told my pheonix is my staff and you ! (AND THE WIFE)

SO A BIG THANKYOU TO ONE AND ALL FOR KEEPING ME GOING

Our website will be going through some big changes from november 2012 with even more choice, better stock levels, and better prices

We have continued to purchase any redundant stock from main dealers/manufactures and we are always looking for more stock! Whatever it is from workshop returns from companies to damaged or unwanted caravans and unwanted parts and accessories we are in the market to purchase that stock! So email us now"

thanks for reading
